All members are entitled to and will receive equally portioned food rations
All members will be assigned work specific tasks related to the skills in which they excel
All members have a right to individual freedom
No killing or inflicted personal harm towards other members.
Any tribe members found to be guilty of murder or severe inflicted harm will be detained in "The Pit". (A giant hole in the ground with wood bars covering the top). Duration of "Pit Visit" is to be determined based on offence.
2. Absolutely no stealing, especially other members food rations.
Any tribe member caught stealing food rations will be penalized the amount equal to what was taken. Any other theft will result in a "Pit Visit"!
3. Members are able to be involved with the governmental decision making, but any attempt to overthrow the current power/leader will result in an indefinite "Pit Visit" 4. All members are obligated to work for the benefit of the tribe, unless they have a reason not to which has been approved by the current leader.
If a member chooses not to work without reason, their tasks will be doubled and if still no effort/progress is made, members will be exiled to sea.
5. If a leader begins to show hostile dictatorship like qualities, they can be overthrown and a new government is voted by the other members, while the previous leader is cast away to sea.
Form of Government
The tribe has one designated leader which is voted on by all members of the tribe. The Leader makes all large scale decisions. There are no term limits which apply to the tribe leader. The election process:
Each member who wishes to become the next leader is assigned a specific coloured leaf.
Voters place the leaf corresponding to the member in which they believe should lead into a holowed out coconut.
The leaves are then counted out in front of all tribe members to reduce the risk of fowl play
the person with the most leaves in their favour becomes the new leader.
In order to maximize the possibility of being noticed by any type of passerby, many different rescue approaches will be taken. Firstly, we will spell out rescue messages with large rocks and stick on the beach to be seen from air. These messages will include "SOS" and "HELP". Also, we will build large statues and piles of wood which will be lit a blaze, therefore creating large smoke pillars which can be seen from air and sea.
